Hi my name is Abigail Joseph and I am 23 years old. I come from a small town near Kansas called Hutchinson. Growing up, a pottery wheel was the centerpiece of our house. Passed down from generation to generation, my mother and grandmother both grew up with the tradition of pottery making. Because of this, as a child, my mother would always teach me the art of pottery making and it soon became my passion. As I grew older I started to grow in depth with pottery making and even started creating a variety of products that reflected my personal style.

 

Soon, I was able to advertise my pottery and many people from my town bought these masterpieces from me. It became a small business and many people started to enjoy my hobby. My pottery was based off of the concept of the earth and what it provides us with. With the primary concept of a leaf, I began to expand my pottery to produce new creations.Through my pottery, I wanted people to realize the importance of the earth and how it plays a vital role in our everyday existence. With my inspired pottery, I wanted to share my creations to more than just the people of my town. That’s when I discovered Aesthetic Galore, a website that allowed me to share my inspirational pottery with people around the world. Because of this website, my small business has now grown into a large business of creating delicate pottery that I enjoy making.
