My inspiration comes from the tribal villages of Africa. I’m Troy Jay and I tell stories through my paintings. While on a trip to Africa in 1999, I witnessed the hardship and difficulty faced by the woman of the tribal areas. Without sufficient resources, these people made the best out of what they had. During the trip, something told me that these stories were not meant to be kept within the 25 miles of the village, but to be narrated to 25 hundred people about the unique lifestyle of these people. After returning from the trip, I started my paintings that focused on the stories that I experienced while on my journey. I depicted important factors that added much importance and depth to the story. I loved painting these stories and the hobby became a passion, but how would so many people find out about these life lessons.
This is where Aesthetic Galore comes in. With their easy to use and flexible website, I was able to expand my audience and narrate the story through my paintings. Because of their great efforts, I will soon be able to achieve my goals of reaching 25 hundred people. Thanks to them, I not only fulfill my mission, but also enjoy my hobby while doing so.
